a watercolor map titled Map of the World. the blue Barrens make up the outermost ring, the green Glen makes up the inner ring, and the red Refuge makes up the center. a black line coming from the refuge and up to the top of the paper is labeled Tower.

oneshot is spectacular. it is a puzzle adventure game originally created in rpg maker with an indescribable atmosphere.

the big thing about it thats often advertised is how the game extends outside the window, requiring you to explore the files of your computer to progress. but this is far from the greatest part. observing the world of this game, oneshot is nothing short of beautiful.

a land of dark blue sand. some craters are present, filled with a more richly blue liquid with stars sprinkled within. there is a slight layer of steam-like gas on top of the view.

the barrens is a cold and dead place. it is only inhabited by robots, as it became too dangerous for any life to want to live there. but there is a sort of beauty in that. the land is coated in a deep, comforting blue, with starry ponds scattered across.

a land of lush green grass and dull blue water. many tree stumps and glowing full trees, a blue-ish wood bridge, and green fireflies are present.

the glen is a much more inviting area, albeit starting to fall apart as well. it is a lush green and surrounded by lakes. there seems to be a large presence of fireflies too. rather pretty and comforting place.

a reddish magenta-ish city. our protagonist crosses a black metal bridge with guardrails, far above the tall buildings displaying only a few lit rooms.

the refuge is the most populated area, but is still also falling apart. the crimson colors make this city surprisingly pleasant.

the world designs themselves are already amazing. the soundtrack of oneshot adds so much more to it. every single song is an experience and is incredibly atmospheric.

oneshot is a must-play. you can get the freeware rpg maker version here, or support the creators and buy the more complete full version. theres console ports too but they arent important.

theres some official wallpapers in case thats your jam. feel free to grab some, its free.
